USCS 10230 - Cooling Water Scale and Corrosion Inhibitor

USCS 10230 is the mainstay treatment product for open recirculating towers with hard water/high alkalinity make-up water and copper in the system. This product is ideal to treat the cooling tower water which goes to a chiller. The product is a blend of excellent Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) scale inhibitors and corrosion inhibitors for yellow metal corrosion inhibition.

• Dose product (USCS 10230) at 100-250 ppm in the tower/blowdown water.
• May be used with oxidizing biocides, but the dosage of bleach or bromine should be maintained as low as possible, just enough to accomplish the elimination of microbiological growth.
• Test using the Palin Test kit. Maintain phosphonate level of 3-6 ppm net. 
• Test procedure: Take the number of drops minus two drops (to zero) x 0.7= ppm Phosphonate
